Hey everybody! I'm Avent-Garde, or Holly, and I'm your Friday Blogger!!!!! (Yay TGIF! *EPIC HIGH FIVE HERE*) I'm so excited to do this collab blog and get to know everyone!

Things that are important to know about me:
1. I'm a student of Middle Eastern Historical Linguistics

                         LINGUISTICS:
                   The science of Languages
   I've studied a multitude of languages including Japanese and Italian. I focus mainly on Hebrew, Farsi, Dari,  and standard Arabic.

2. I'm old school vintage. Like THIS! And This adorable thing :) 
3. I collect tea sets from around the world!
4. Not only am I a student, but I'm a full time Baker at a local Grocery store, or as I like to call it, Prison #77. Oh the stories that come from retail work. :P
This also means that sometimes I work nights. :P
5. My music interest ranges from Marianas Trench to THIS and my favorite. Man, I love the ol' gospel feel in music. :) (I'm 21, not 50, for the record)
6. I like to write, and I LOVE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7. BUT I LOVE BIKING EVEN MORE!!!!!!!


8. I live near Colorado Springs. Most of you probably heard of the Waldo Canyon Fire that wiped out the West side of the city on Tuesday. (scary stuff! Man, it was like Armageddon down here!)

9.  I am a Christian. Not the "if your a __________ then God hates you and we do too" kind but the, "Dude, God loves ya no matter what you do," kind.

Things I hate:

1. Tornadoes
2. Rude customers
3.......... .......... .........

Yeah, that's about it....

So, I might have just discovered how to put links into a blog post, so I went a little link happy. Give it time, and I'll get over it. I'm long winded as well, but what can you do? I just have a lot to say/show!

Hello!

My name is Philippa, and I'll be your Thursday blogger! I'm from Sweden, way up in northern Europe, and I've lived here almost all my life. :) I think my friends would describe me as friendly, and maybe a little bit shy. I'm also really indecisive and haven't quite figured out what I want to do with my life yet, so I'm working a bit while trying to make up my mind! :)

Here's a bit more about me:

- Soccer (I love to watch it, but I'm pretty hopeless at sports in general to be honest, haha :) )

- Being late (but I always am, I just can't seem to help it)

Hello from France! This is Sarah and I will be your Wednesday blogger! I'm really excited that we finally started this blog, and I can't wait to see how this all turns out. :)
Anyway, here's a little about me:
Likes:

1. My cat
2. Music (I'll probably drive you all crazy talking about it, since it's my major in college)
3. Playing the piano
4. The band Beirut and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes

6. Writing (this one's pretty obvious, since I'm doing this blog!)

Dislikes:
1. Country music
2. Whenever people use "your" when they're supposed to use "you're" (I swear I'm not a huge grammar nazi, that just bothers me a lot)
3. Getting lost (which I tend to do a lot...)
4. Really cold weather
I also normally live in Texas, and I'm going to be a freshman in college in the fall, which is exciting! I also really love Harry Potter and Doctor Who, and obsess about books a lot too. :)

My name is Erin and I will be the Tuesday blogger for "The Colors of Us". Currently in my time zone it is a little after Tuesday but we had to switch some bloggers and days around, and I had a late night at work (long irritating story), but we shall persevere!!

Hello! Allow me to welcome you to The Colours of Us-a Nerdfighter collab blog. My name is Nicky and I'll be your Monday blogger. Were I wearing a hat, I would tip it in greeting.


The first week is just going to be each of us introducing ourselves, then we'll start posting about themes and such. Think Sarcaschicks, but in textual form, and without occational appearances from Alex Day (yet).


So I guess the smart thing to do would be to type a bit about me, so here we go!
